PROCESSING TIMES AND SHIPPING

Processing or turnaround time is the amount of time it takes to make your order prior to shipping. Because all items are handmade and hand processed, turnaround time varies based on order volume. During holidays and the fall season, processing times are longer. Please check the top of the website for current turnaround times before placing your order. It is our goal to always ship sooner than the posted turnaround time.

Priority Mail does not shorten processing time; it only affects the transit speed once shipped. You will receive a shipping notification with tracking when your order has shipped. USPS can sometimes take up to 72 hours to show movement on a shipped package.

We are transparent about turnaround times, which are noted throughout the site, including in the agreement checkbox at checkout. As a small, independent studio led by a single artist, we value your patience and support. Because each item is handmade, respectful communication regarding turnaround times is appreciated. Inquiries made before the designated period will result in cancellation and refund.


COMBINED SHIPPING

Due to order volume, we are unable to hold or combine orders. Each order ships individually. Thank you for understanding.


USA SHIPPING

Orders are shipped via USPS using your choice of standard or Priority shipping. Packages weighing 16 ounces or more must ship Priority. Eau de Parfum orders of 30ml or more must ship ground due to alcohol content, and we are unable to ship Eau de Parfums to Hawaii.

For orders containing 30ml or more of Eau de Parfum, the shipping method may display as First Class or Priority to save you cost, but the package itself will ship ground. All orders include a tracking number. Signature confirmation is required for orders totaling $300 and above and for first-time orders of $150 or more and is included complimentarily. USPS ISSUES

Once a package is in USPS custody, delivery is managed entirely by the postal service. If tracking shows a delay or your package appears stuck in transit, please contact your local post office for assistance. We cannot reimburse or replace orders that are lost, misdelivered, or stolen after USPS marks them delivered. If you have experienced delivery problems in the past, we recommend adding signature confirmation.

Shipping labels print exactly as you enter them. We are not responsible for lost orders due to address errors. If a package is returned because of an incorrect address, a $5 re-shipping fee plus postage will apply.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We currently ship to the United States, Canada, Australia, Mexico, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Norway. We do not ship to the UK or EU due to restrictive cosmetics regulations.

Please review your country’s import rules before ordering. We cannot mark packages as gifts, as doing so is illegal. All duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and tariffs are the customer’s responsibility. If a package is returned for unpaid fees, we cannot issue a refund.

Overseas parcels usually take 3–5 weeks to arrive and may be delayed by customs. Once a package leaves the United States, we are unable to track or replace it. Please check with your local postal or customs office if your package is delayed. International shipping carries inherent risk, and by placing an order you accept that we cannot refund lost or stolen packages. If a package is returned to us, you will need to pay shipping again to resend it.


FORWARDING SERVICES

We do not permit third-party shipping or forwarding services. Orders sent to forwarding addresses are ineligible for refunds, replacements, or support in the event of loss or damage. Orders suspected of using forwarding services may be canceled.


REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

Due to the cosmetic nature of our products, all sales are final. If we make an error in your order, we will correct it. Because our products are handmade and often limited edition, once an order is placed it cannot be canceled.

If an item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately and include photos of the damaged item, inner packaging, and outer packaging. We cannot assess damage without photos.

All labels and packaging are produced in-house. Minor variations in color or placement are natural results of small-batch production and do not constitute defects. Product photos are illustrative and may appear differently depending on screen settings. By purchasing, you acknowledge that small visual differences do not warrant refunds or exchanges.


MISSING MAIL

We do not replace or refund lost or stolen packages. If your address was entered incorrectly, contact us within 24 hours so we can correct it. If a package is marked delivered but not received, you must contact your local post office. If theft is suspected, file a mail-theft report. We can assist with initiating a missing-mail claim.


PREORDERS

Preorders are available for most new fragrance launches. Preorder items must be purchased separately or with other preorder items. Orders that combine in-stock and preorder items will be canceled.


SAFETY AND RESPONSIBLE USE

Some essential oils and fragrance components are not recommended for pregnant or nursing individuals. If you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition, or take medication, consult a doctor before using any fragrance product. Keep fragrances away from children and pets. Cats are especially sensitive to essential oils; avoid contact if you have product on your hands. Products are suitable for ages 12 and up.

Always perform a patch test before full application. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Your purchase acknowledges that allergic reactions are possible and that Amorphous Perfume is not liable for such reactions. If you have known allergies, contact us before purchase and we can cross-check ingredients.

Use perfumes only as intended. Do not apply near eyes or open flames. For external use only.


REFORMULATIONS

Occasionally, perfumes are reformulated due to ingredient availability or artistic revision. The original name may be retained to preserve conceptual integrity and deter imitation. When a formula changes, this will be noted in the listing. Please read perfume details before placing an order. We do not offer refunds or exchanges based on reformulations. Sampling is recommended before purchasing full sizes.


DECANTING AND USE POLICY

Perfumes are for personal use only. Rebottling, resale, or use in other products such as candles, soaps, or cosmetics is prohibited. Amorphous Perfume is not liable for misuse of its products. Our fragrances are available exclusively through amorphousperfume.com and our official Etsy shop. We do not endorse third-party sellers or decanters and cannot guarantee the authenticity of products purchased elsewhere.


OTHER

Our curio, ritual, and altar items are sold as curios for entertainment and traditional purposes only. Buyers are responsible for their own spiritual practices. We make no guarantees of outcome and cannot provide spiritual guidance beyond product descriptions.
