Perfume oils do not unfold their complexity when experienced directly from the bottle. If you attempt to gauge the aroma of a perfume oil by smelling it from the bottle, your experience will not be accurate.
Apply first to your pulse points (the inner wrists, the base of the throat, behind ear lobes, and the inner elbows.) where it will warm with your body heat to unfold the fragrance.
Perfume oil, unlike alcohol-based perfumes, wears closer to the skin. It warms on your body, adapts to your body chemistry, and creates a halo of scent on the body. As it fades, perfume oil can be applied throughout the day as a personal aromatic ritual.
External Use Only. Keep away from children and pets. Discontinue use should irritation occur.

Velvet Circuit Limited Edition

Aroma palette is ozonic, darkly floral, and slightly gourmand. Highlights include black lace, vinyl, velvet static, incense, pvc clothing, wrapped records, metal, a touch of leather, powder makeup, hair dye, wild cherry lip gloss, and air conditioning.
This scent is built from memory. Not one memory, but the overlap of two kinds of places that shaped the perfumers generation. First, the cool blast of air conditioning from the back of a mall, where band tees hung in rows beside PVC skirts, studded jewelry, and black nail polish. Then, the deeper smell of underground city shops, dim and narrow, where the walls were covered in posters, the floors were worn, and the air carried incense, metal, and the cling of leather from someone who just stepped out.
There’s the black lace and velvet sparked with static that you’d find in a hidden goth shop. There’s the plasticky warmth of vinyl and PVC clothing, and the soft powdery haze of makeup hanging in the air behind a ghosting of hair dye and the glossy sweetness of wild cherry lip balm. There’s a trace of leather, too, but softened by wear. A trace of record sleeves, metal displays, and skin warmed by fluorescent lights.
This is what it smelled like to be a little bit strange and find the first version of yourself, surrounded by too much eyeliner, the right kind of music, and clothes that felt like armor.
This is a beautifully wearable atmospheric, resinous and witchy with hints of fruit and deep dark florals.
Presented in a 5ml amber apothecary bottle (oil), 10ml rollerball bottle (oil), and 15ml Eau de Parfum.
Please note that EDPs cannot ship outside of the United States.
This perfume accomplishes a fascinating and evocative act of time travel. Transporting me to my teen years, yet with none of the misery, and all of the self discovery. Reminding me of the best moments of expansive high school friendships that ended in drama or distance, but ultimately appreciated for helping me grow towards my true self. The artistry of this scent is almost perplexing, capturing specific moments in time that now echo timelessly in just how amazing the perfume actually smells.
I get all the notes - on first whiff from the bottle and even first wet on my skin, I had an initial concern at how prominent the plasticky notes. But that concern was fleeting. Velvet Circuit dries down beautiful, witchy, totally unique. Kalliope's elegant alchemy ties the notes together into an enchantingly wearable scent.
What a comfort, what a time machine, and what a gift - to feel back into formative years with a perspective of love and grace, despite that being such a hard chapter of life.
Just from the genius of the concept alone, I couldn't resist ordering a couple for myself, even before I was able to try it on - and I'm so grateful I did. I hope this one is always around 🖤
Idk if anyone who follows you lives in the Metro Detroit area and remembers City Club downtown but this is exactly what I remember it smelled like. It was a goth/alt/dance/race underground Club. 18 and up but im sure I got in there younger. Leather and fishnets from Noir Leather, fog machine, black lipstick, speaker fritz. Combine thsi with 90s goth and you might as well hand me the keys to a time machine. Very spot-on and transportative.
If I could travel back in time just once, it would have to be the goth scene in the 80s (when I was way too young to even know it existed). The music was just emerging from its punk roots, there was constant experimentation with sound and style, and bands often played shadowy underground locales that created haunting visuals for their songs. This is what I imagine one of those concerts to smell like. The venue is pulsing with static. Black lace and velvet are brushing against leather and PVC in a cloud of incense as powdered faces, with hair dyed freshly black and cherry-glossed lips, strain to see over the shoulders in front of them. Air conditioning buzzes in the background and carries the vaguely metallic smell of an unfinished stage. Freshly opened vinyl records beckon from the merch booth, where a throng of eager fans flock like bats. This is the darkness, and they own it.
It really does smell as described! I'm from a rural area, so the trip to such stores meant I was on an adventure to a city. This association gives me a collection of stomach butterflies when I'm wearing it, which I didn't expect but have been enjoying
Oh I really like this one. It’s atmospheric for sure, I’m slightly addicted.. found myself spraying it over the past week to wear out. It definitely invokes bits and pieces of memories from places and events that passed. I appreciate you sharing this with us. 🖤
