This gorgeous duo is bedecked with white musk and a touch of sandalwood. It opens up with the deep earthiness of a slightly peppery patchouli which quickly gives way to amber on the drydown before settling into a beautifully mysterious amber with touches of sandalwood and lingering patchouli.

Artists note: I adopted my first Sphynx 25 years ago when I was living in San Francisco. He lived to be an amazing old man of 15 and he not only changed my life, but saved it in many ways. I have been a proud guardian of these special cats for many years and currently have three Sphynx children (two Canadian Sphynxes and a Donskoy). Because they are so unique, they sadly too often fall into the wrong hands either through greed or through ignorance of the amount of special care these cats require. Alberta Sphynx Rescue does incredible, much needed work to rescue, provide a safe haven to, and give lots of love to specialty hairless breeds.

Oh, how beautiful this is. I had a feeling I’d enjoy this from the notes, (and the cause!) but I am impressed! The patchouli is deep and dark, the amber warm and slightly sweet, rounded out beautifully by the softness of sandalwood.. but it’s much more than the individual notes, though they all shine in equal measure. It’s the sleekness, the warmth, the shining eyes of a feline companion snuggled against you. The way there is sometimes solace in darkness. This is a masterful blend in scent itself, but the feeling it evokes, feeling like maybe I can see through the dark.. that is truly something special.
I feel privileged to be able to share in and enjoy this exceptional art, and I hope that this one could be a permanent perfume!
I bought this on a whim due to the notes and the Artist's Note about her cats, and I have not regretted it. The scent comes in little waves throughout the day, opening up softly in a way that feels inviting.
There is something dark and lovely about it. I can't recommend it enough!
At first sniff, in the bottle, this did not smell how I was expecting. But every time I've worn it, I love it more and more.
Warm, sexy, luxurious - soft, yet a little bit spicy. Totally unique, yet eerily familiar - like a scent I wore and loved in a former lifetime. Excellent projection and longevity as well.
I initially ordered a small one, but had to full size, and honestly would hate to run out eventually - I sincerely hope this can be added to the permanent collection someday!
A truly beautiful scent, and I love the support for a good (paws!) cause. I'm a cat person by nurture and nature, so of course had to gift one of these to my cat lady mama as well. Sphynx has fast become one of my favourite signature scents to wear.
