Perfume oils do not unfold their complexity when experienced directly from the bottle. If you attempt to gauge the aroma of a perfume oil by smelling it from the bottle, your experience will not be accurate.
Apply first to your pulse points (the inner wrists, the base of the throat, behind ear lobes, and the inner elbows.) where it will warm with your body heat to unfold the fragrance.
Perfume oil, unlike alcohol-based perfumes, wears closer to the skin. It warms on your body, adapts to your body chemistry, and creates a halo of scent on the body. As it fades, perfume oil can be applied throughout the day as a personal aromatic ritual.
External Use Only. Keep away from children and pets. Discontinue use should irritation occur.

Dark Circus Limited Edition

Aroma palette is earthy, woody, ozonic, and gourmand. Highlights include autumn leaves, plastic Halloween masks, clown makeup, old circus tent canvas, barn hay, aged iron, and crushed popcorn.
Dark Circus is the result of the artists desire to compose the darkest circus themed fragrance on the market. It’s a walk through a long-abandoned carnival at the edge of autumn. The scent begins with the brittle rustle of fallen leaves and the faint snap of cold air as night settles in. Crushed popcorn lingers in the dust, barely sweet beneath the weight of decay and decomposition.
On the drydown, an unusual note of aged plastic creeps in, like the brittle surface of forgotten Halloween masks. The powdery smear of clown makeup follows, waxy and unsettling.
The heart of the scent is the circus itself. The heavy canvas of the old tent smells like dirt, mildew, and years of smoke curling into the seams. There’s a dry whisper of barn hay, not bright and golden but faded and trampled by animals that have long moved on. A cool, dirty metallic breath of oxidized iron appears briefly. Even as the deeper notes settle in, the popcorn remains, light and strange, a stubborn trace of sweetness against the dreary and ominous backdrop
This perfume doesn’t just evoke a place. It puts you there. Unsettling, hyperreal, and extremely bleak and unsettling, Dark Circus captures the moment the sun goes down and the ghosts come forward.
Presented in a 5ml amber apothecary bottle (oil), 10ml rollerball bottle (oil), and 15ml Eau de Parfum.
Please note that EDPs cannot ship outside of the United States.
Being a creature of autumn, one of my favorite books of all time is Ray Bradbury’s Something Wicked This Way Comes. This is the bottled version of Cooger &. Dark’s Pandemonium Shadow Show. Halloween night encroaches on the last glimpses of sunlight as dry leaves swirl magically in sudden gusts of wind. Excited children in plastic masks run for an ancient and tattered tent, held up by iron rods, that has seen more shows and centuries than it should. Clown faces covered in powdery cake makeup send the trick-or-treaters screaming. Leaves and popcorn crunch underfoot as the faint smell of hay for the animals wafts in from behind the scenes, along with the tinkling notes of a carousel waiting for its next rider. Follow the music if you want to live forever.
This one is CREEPY. It’s very true to the description and I can pick out every single note. It’s very well blended and nothing is too overpowering. If you close your eyes you are standing in an apocalyptic circus scene. I don’t know how this perfumer does what she does but it’s really amazing.
It's very rubber/latex forward but it dries down into the more buttery undertones. Very spooky smelling, I love it.
I felt the popcorn note was there longer than I wanted but as it dried down more, I liked it.
