Perfume oils do not unfold their complexity when experienced directly from the bottle. If you attempt to gauge the aroma of a perfume oil by smelling it from the bottle, your experience will not be accurate.
Apply first to your pulse points (the inner wrists, the base of the throat, behind ear lobes, and the inner elbows.) where it will warm with your body heat to unfold the fragrance.
Perfume oil, unlike alcohol-based perfumes, wears closer to the skin. It warms on your body, adapts to your body chemistry, and creates a halo of scent on the body. As it fades, perfume oil can be applied throughout the day as a personal aromatic ritual.

Pitch Violet Perfume Oil

Aroma palette is woody, earthy, and darkly floral. Highlights include dark violet, cedar trees, fir balsam, black pepper, and petrichor.
Previously released as Winter Violet in the Winter 2025 limited collection, this fragrance now returns under the name Pitch Violet as part of the permanent collection.
Pitch violet is the aroma of otherworldly violets in winter, rooted deep in the forest floor. It unfolds like a walk through a frozen woodland at dusk. The air is damp with petrichor and threaded with the cool, shadowy bloom of dark violet. Towering Texas cedarwoods and balsam fir rise all around, their resinous breath mingling with the earthy depths of Haitian vetiver and patchouli absolute. Rock rose adds a resinous warmth beneath the cool florals, while black pepper cuts through the stillness at the opening with a quick spark.
Woody, earthy, and darkly floral, this perfume is steeped in nature’s own palette — packed with rich naturals including Texas cedarwood, fir balsam absolute, rock rose, Haitian vetiver, and precious patchouli absolute. A 90% natural composition, this is our moodiest violet fragrance yet.
This might be my favorite. It’s very violet forward. More herbal than sweet, and a little woodsy too.
Beautiful, jet black violet. This is absolutely stunning, dark, and deep. Please make this part of the permanent collection!
Winter Violet is a beautiful dark and mysterious Violet. It is a Love for me. Perfect for Fall and Winter.
So I bought your sugared violets perfume (I think that’s the name) over the summer I think it was. I loved that one that I just Had to blind buy this one as well. My initial reaction was “Wow!!” I honestly think I’m going to buy every violet perfume that you make because it smells phenomenal! If you enjoy the sugared violets one, I’m so positive that you are gonna enjoy this one.
I’m not sure about this one on me. I think it smells like grape candy, which I don’t hate, but isn’t quite what I was expecting.
