Aroma palette is smoky, incense, and resinous. Highlights include frankincense, myrrh, ancient moss, aged merlot, antique woods, and extinguished candle wick.
This fragrance encapsulates the sacred and timeless atmosphere of a midnight mass on a winter evening.
At the forefront of this composition is a frankincense and myrrh duet, lending an air of sacred solemnity to the blend. On the drydown, moss gently growing on ancient stones is revealed alongside several types of sandalwood, adding woody and earthy layers of depth and warmth.
Church incense and the faintest hint of chalice wine, subtly weaves through the other notes, creating an intoxicating blend that evokes the rituals and traditions of the church interior. The background of this evocative blend also features nuances of candle wick, beeswax, and delicate tendrils of smoke to evoke memories of freshly extinguished candles.

This is one of my all time favorites, so I had to purchase another bottle since it is retiring. Love the scent of Church incense it has. Definitely reminds me of attending Midnight Mass years ago. Very nostalgic scent.

I completely see myself with this scent when my dark hours come to me.. Midnight, visiting, partying, drinking in Pubs... But with this sacred place that pleases me. I'm good, covered with my confidence and ready to read old book in a dirty place to summum my protectors.
Midnight Mass is beautiful and definitely has a nocturnal feel, evocative of a sacred space. There is something peaceful and comforting as well as sophisticated about it and it definitely has a vintage feel to me. It reminds me of the golden age in film, transporting me to another place and time. When I wear this, I feel an enhanced connection to ancestors and feel elegant and comforted. Especially on the drydown, the scents that stand out to me most are those of a deep red wine mixed with ladies’ perfume. Also, this scent is so beautiful the way it lingers on clothing - pungent and lovely. I highly recommend this one.
This is a dark and mature fragrance with an old-timey feel to it. I think this fragrance has a distinctly comforting quality to it, like a sacred space. It seems to transport me to another time and place, and I feel an enhanced ancestral connection when I wear it.
