I’m a sucker for a blood accord, and no one does that better than Amorphous. The blood note really blossoms in this one, starting out warm but quickly going cold, followed by the scent of cool, damp air. These two notes mingle beautifully on the skin. On the dry down, I can smell dustiness and the pale lily musk peeking through. This scent is dark and a little creepy and I love it. (This is almost my plea to please bring it back in the future.)
I was a bit nervous about the blood accord but I’m very happy to have taken a chance. This is a beautiful tea scent with a bit of bite to keep it interesting.
This is very well done. My first from Amorphous and I decided to be daring. This is surprisingly delicate, but complex. I really get the porcelain. It's smooth and cold. Subtle tea and bergamot. Also get a soft dusty quality. When it dries down and begins to warm on the skin the blood comes out, deliciously metallic. It makes you pause because of how beautiful it is. and you feel like you should be repulsed. Very wearable and beautifully crafted and a great addition to my collection as I have nothing like it.
I was pleasantly surprised by this perfume. It has warmth and depth, but also an edge to it, in such a good way.
