I adore your sampler sets! I know they are difficult for you to make with the high order volumes, but I adore them. They give me the chance to try scents that I normally wouldn’t and the often those tend to be the ones I end up loving ❤️ This tin was amazing, and the holographic sticker was the cutest! Thank you for all that you do!

October Masquerade is trick-or-treating in a bottle. Rich chocolate, woods, the distant scent of a bonfire. I’m in love. I want to wear it while reading Ray Bradbury’s The Halloween Tree. I’m only sad that it didn’t last longer on my skin (2-3 hours), but for the time it was there, it was heavenly.

Circus of Shadows is marshmallows and patchouli. If you love either/both, it’s (literally and figuratively) a sweet combo.

Sweeney somehow came off as coca-cola on my skin? Not bad, but unexpected!

Funeral Cloak is true to its name. I didn’t get any florals from it, but my skin amped the other listed notes. It is exactly what I would expect a funeral cloak to smell like. My least fav of the set, but I’m happy to have experienced it.

Everhaunted was a greenhouse on a damp, cool day. Freshly turned soil all around and a mixture of crushed petals underfoot. Everything is deep and sweet but you know decay is just around the corner.

Nevermore is the epitome of Halloween fragrances. Extremely dark. Cemetery soil, petrichor, aged wood. I was both fascinated and uncomfortable while wearing it. An olfactory peek into what it might be like to be buried alive. This would make an amazing wear for a party or when sitting down to write your next horror novel. Oh, and by far, this was the strongest on me. I put it on two hours before bed and it was still there 8 hours later.

Overall, truly fun times were had trying this set out! It makes me want samples of the rest of Amorphous’ darker offerings.

I can't rave enough about this collection! Amorphous is an artist, she captures the described aromas so accurately that you can close your eyes and imagine standing on a 19th century rainy night in London on Fleet Street. My favorite from the collection was October Masquerade, but they were all delectable.
