Perfume oils do not unfold their complexity when experienced directly from the bottle. If you attempt to gauge the aroma of a perfume oil by smelling it from the bottle, your experience will not be accurate.
Apply first to your pulse points (the inner wrists, the base of the throat, behind ear lobes, and the inner elbows.) where it will warm with your body heat to unfold the fragrance.
Perfume oil, unlike alcohol-based perfumes, wears closer to the skin. It warms on your body, adapts to your body chemistry, and creates a halo of scent on the body. As it fades, perfume oil can be applied throughout the day as a personal aromatic ritual.
External Use Only. Keep away from children and pets. Discontinue use should irritation occur.

Attic Ornaments (Limited Edition)

Aroma palette is atmospheric, woodsy, and fruity. Highlights include artificial snow, plastic ornaments, metal hangers, dusty pine needles, manger hay, static electricity, and aged pomanders.
This atmospheric holiday blend was inspired by the yearly haul of holiday ornaments from my grandmothers attic in the late 1980s. The boxes that we gleefully brought down for the winter season each year always had a particular smell that spoke of both the holidays that had already passed and the new ones to come. This blend contains the ghosts of Christmas trees past, a quick whiff of artificial snow, the nostalgic plastic smell of ornaments and bits of old toys, the metallic tang of metal hooks, the pleasantly dusty aroma of manger hay, the fruity scent of aged pomanders, and ghostings of electricity wafting off of fabric.
This years formulation has a slightly more prominent pomander note than the previous iteration.
Absolutely beautiful atmospheric fragrance! This scent reminds me of Christmas Day in the 80s and early 90s. I can smell tinsel, Christmas tree, metal, and a hint of pomander. It’s so cheerful and I picture a colorful-lit star Christmas tree topper when I smell this!
I never write reviews, but this one I write with tears in my eyes. This scent brings to mind the collection of Christmas tree ornaments my mom started collecting for me when I was born. The box is decorated in illustrations of pine boughs and red bulbs, and oh man, every year when she pulled that box out of storage and set it in front of me: the feeling was pure magic. That time of year, as we placed ornaments on the tree, the house smelled of freshly cut tree, spiced apple cider simmering on the stove, years-old cinnamon sticks, and sweet old-fashioned ribbon candy that my mom kept in dishes shaped like snowmen. I always looked forward to putting my favorite ornament on the tree: a little mouse in a red hat, resting on a pile of books. I haven’t thought about any of this in years. Thank you for bringing it back.
Love the smell. Reminds me of the end of Fall beginning of Winter. Sweet candles burning. Warm wool sweaters. Cinnamon sticks and Christmas.
When I ordered the holiday sampler I didn't really expect to love this based on the notes of metal and plastic, but it ended up being my favorite of the five! The portal to Christmas that opened upon first opening the vial instantly put a smile on my face.
There's a slight contradiction going on here that is captivating: it's soft and warm while keeping a bright crispness, something I generally associate with cooler scents. (In that way it reminds me a bit of Book Fair from the Autumn 2020 release which I also fell in love with). Metallic tang and static electricity are such strange notes to put in a holiday fragrance, but I think it's the magic touch that makes this so mind-blowingly perfect and proves that Kalliope is freaking inspired! I'm glad that the Christmas tree pine is more present than I expected it to be while still harmonizing with the blend; it's friendlier and softer than the trees in Evergreen. The dry down is smooth and very comforting, I think the note of dusty hay is what I'm loving most there.
This perfume is yet another work of liquid magic and memory, and I hope it becomes part of the permanent collection or at least is resurrected next year. Brava!
So this was an experience. It made me tear up a bit, as it instantly transported me back to my childhood and helping my mom decorate the tree with hand me down ornaments from the 50s. So gorgeous and wonderful experience. Thank you.
